When the 5G students were asked to observe the landscape of the Swan River in Perth's CBD from the top of Kings Park, they had an additional task of considering what it would have looked like before colonisation.
A piece of art by Christopher Pease helped us visualise this which you can view here.
The students then used Paint to digitally recreate the landscape before the European settlers came to the Fremantle harbour.
These informative podcast reports are the work of 5G after conducting their research on the Australian Gold Rush and it's effect upon our population during the period of colonisation. The students used their Garageband iPad app with great success.
